New York State considering new bike legislation

This reality deficient, half a** poser of an American, 100% genuine ignorant fool is behind the NYS bike plate concept and it's logistics.

So this guys gonna waste my money chasing people around to charge them for riding their bikes? I'd gladly pay the fee if it meant I could sit down and have even a brief chat with this looser.

What a fool. Millions are without health care, health insurance, jobs, homes, ect. and this fool wants to chase around bikers (40-80 thousand of them) to get a lousy 2 million up font with only a 300k per year return. What a FOOL! It can't be his foolish tool looks that got him elected. Guy's got "tool" written all over him!

  1. Word on the street is that there is little to no chance of this passing. There are a lot of proposed changes but for some reason this one is getting a lot of media attention. Why don't they cover the "no tax on helmets" law with such fervor? It's such a troll. It is listed squarely under "Oppose" by the NYBC: http://www.nybc.net/wp-content/uploads/NYBC-State-Legislative-Platform.pdf

  2. Nice! I'm with you on that-not worried about it passing. I just will never get used to/accept the reality that people with such ignorant ideas carry so much weight.

Maybe we should tax people that walk to work. And people that eat sandwiches for breakfast but not lunch. There's a cash pot waiting to be tapped! hahaha...lol...

Side note-you get out today to spin? Just glorious!

  3. He already withdrew the bill it seems: http://www.streetsblog.org/2011/03/03/dendekker-withdraws-statewide-bike-license-bill/
Still some debate on whether or not to introduce a bill that regulates cycling related emissions (not really).

I rode to work today but I have a nasty cold so I'm debating the long ride or short ride home. Trying to train and extending this cold would be counter productive...
