Pho-Toes Pine Hill Park and a Misfit

Pine Hill Park is pretty much mint right now. It's been a blast getting to know the network and seeing all the amazing vistas for the first time. Breathtaking in pretty much any direction you roll.

There's literally a little of everything, and a lot of sick single track. Every now and then you find some pretty sweet constructed trails, bridges, slaloms, ect. and some sweet free ride stuff too, and the place is clean, well marked, friendly and not overly crowded once up the hill from the main trail head.

I've been running the Misfit @ 32x17 which makes for an intense fest of shred with each stroke. After a couple of hours it just starts to demoralize me though lol. I get so frustrated on the way to and from the trail when I get spun out. I don't think that's some thing i'll ever be able to accept but i'm loving the SS once into the woods. What a rush the way you have no choice but to thrash every climb like it's your last. It's so insanely quite and powerful too. The Misfit's approach to being between the wheels makes for an incredible ride downhill as well. It's pretty awesome. The thing handles drops, gaps, roots, and rocky dh decents like it's a 6 inch travel monster yet it's lighter then my road bike and sprints up hill like a ...(insert metaphorical animal on speed reference here___). I'm pretty happy with them so far.
