The Farmall Hill Challenge is a sweet way to kick off the local race season. It's like fire...it looks so cool, but man does it burn, and it's not to be played with! I doubt my legs are ready for ~3000ft of climbing tomorrow in under 13 miles but i'm stoked to test out the new rig and see if I can hold on. It's also going to be fun to see everyone for the first time in quite a while. I learned my lesson last year after making the mistake six times in a row of blowing up at the start...but learning a lesson and using it's knowledge are two entirely different things...lol.

Open spot on the podiums now! Bummer I'm going to be missing out on this series for the first time in maybe 8+ years or so. Can't even count the # of laps I've done around that course. Quick check of my calendar has 18 times I've raced there since 2007! And I raced it plenty before then!
ReplyDeleteI know man i'm gonna miss your grin as you look back while making me puke!!! Been checking out your blog though and I must say it looks like you're in heaven. I guess now it's up to someone else to help me put on my suffer face! Been referring to your race start simulation article all winter and loving the tips/techniques.
