Come on! Gimme a break-the canal is getting so crowded these days...I thought after how nice it was this afternoon I may have been in the clear but a local weekend trail ride isn't looking too promising.

After this next line of showers comes through, the chance of rain Thursday and Friday is relatively low. Things might dry a bit those two days and Saturday looks dry. Where you thinking of riding? I don't think anything out this way will be ridaeble by then. Although I've probably ridden EVL in worse shape...
ReplyDeleteYo! Just talking about my usual local trails. I've never seen them with so much standing water before yesterdays crazy rainfall, so I can only imagine how soggy they are now. If we make it until Saturday with no rain then Dryer Road will be OK, but it'd be pretty careless to hit my favorite local trails (Tryon, Wetlands, the bay) while they're so wet and fragile. Just one or two riders could trash years of trail work in just a couple days. I hope people don't do so.
ReplyDeleteYo Ben you headed someplace this weekend?
